Minister Anthony kindly offered to present the certificates and awards to the YC and finally with everything finished, it was time for a teary farewell for our YC.V07 marks the end of an era for STS YOUNG ENDEAVOUR. For two years the Ship has been well served by LEUT Aaron (Bullet) Turner,RAN as the Navigating Officer. He departs the Ship for a posting to HMAS WATSON as a Navigation Instructor. He has been a well liked and thoroughly well respected member of the Staff Crew by both Staff and the many Youth Crews he has been involved with. His departure leaves a large gap in the Ship, and I would like to thank him for all hisefforts and his expert advice throughout the period of my command and wish him well in all his future ‘endeavours’.Thought of the Day: To understand life is to understand ourselves and that is both the beginning and end of education.- Jiddu KrishnamurtiYours, AyeJohn CowanLCDR, RAN
