A voyage in Young Endeavour is much more than simply learning to sail. Young people take away skills for life including communication, leadership, teamwork, self-esteem and a greater understanding of themselves and each other. This improves their capacity to participate in education and employment.

The Young Endeavour Youth Scheme partners with schools, businesses and community organisations to provide scholarships to young Australians aged 16-23 to sail in Young Endeavour and to promote the program to youth within their communities.
