Happy New Year!

As this is the final CO’s log for this year I would like to take the opportunity to thank you all for your dedication and support, following our movements around the country via this site on the internet, it is great to be able to share our experiences with you all.For now though, back to business – well it has been a rather hectic day, watching and waiting to see if the weather would be against us reaching Hobart before NYE. It was a little uncomfortable with 3-4m seas on our bow, until we rounded Tasman Is, turning north west towards Hobart and the sun came out. It has been one of the most pleasant days of the voyage, with everyone finally relieved that we will see NYE in Hobart. Most were also enjoying the sunshine and the many dolphins that came out to welcome us, it truly is a magnificent part of the Australian coastline.Hope you have enjoyed reading our adventures, look forward to catching you all in the new year.Andrew Davis
