Arriving into Jervis Bay at 12.30pm on Monday we made port atthe HMAS Creswell Naval Base. Disembarking from the ship and gettingtheir land legs back took a little while but soon the youth crew wereplaying ball games ashore and enjoying some free time on CaptainsBeach (With World’s Whitest Sand). The days activities finishednicely with a beachside bbq and some deck activities. The youth crewsevening was spent electing a team of individuals to help lead theship on its command day on tuesday and wednesday.After a peaceful horizontal nights sleep (without the rocking of theship) the youth crew awoke eager to begin their command of theYoung Endeavour for 24 hours and the final sail into Sydney Harbouron Wednesday Afternoon.Command day has now begun and youth crew are in full control of theship.
