22 Jun Voyage 07/08 Commences
Ahoy Shipmates, Today saw the commencement of Voyage 07/08 from Bundaberg to Mackay and YOUNG ENDEAVOURS third voyage of our Northern Program. After farewelling family and friends at the Bundaberg Marina we went straight into our training program . Firstly it was ice breaker” activities closely followed by ships tours and then finally the first of many of Chef Chad’s great meals (4 choices including roast lamb and chicken parmi) . After dinner it was straight into the climbing system safety briefs before commencing our first climbs just after 2000. The time is now 2230 (1030 PM) and all YC have made it to the Topgallant Yard (highest yard) and by doing so have already proven to the Staff Crew that they are prepared to challenge themselfs (with some pushing themselves through their fear of heights). Tomorrow will see us sail from Bundaberg and commence our passage north
