Overnight Young Endeavour continued motor sailing south under fore and aft sails as each of the watches continued to reacquaint themselves with the ship. An obscured sunrise had the ship seaward of Ulladulla on the Shoalhaven Coast. It was a quiet day around the ship due to the prevailing conditions with 30+ knot winds and three metre seas saw all hands not on watch down in their beds with the ship at times only making 1.2 knots headway. Many of the race fleet could be observed closer inshore as Young Endeavour maintained a position three quarters along the fleet along the . Young Endeavour is currently motor sailing along at six knots under fore and aft sails, making ground to the south east on a close reach starboard tack along the Eurobodalla Coast, with the intention of continuing our passage overnight at sea underway.Until tomorrow evening, take care.Yours ayeCaptain Damien
