Ahoy there everyone,

Welcome to day seven, after a challenging night at sea during which we crossed the NSW/QLD border. The morning commenced at 0700 with another rousing tune this time from White Watch which heralded in a new day and new time zone retarding clocks by one hour as the ship rounded Moreton Island.

After morning brief the ship entered Moreton Bay and motor sailed to the western shore of Moreton Island anchoring in the lee of Tangalooma Resort just after lunch. The Youth Crew were then ferried ashore in the ships sea boat to participate in a beach sporting activity and then stretch their legs.

On return to the ship a superb upper deck BBQ cooked by Heather, Sam and Daylan was eagerly consumed prior to a final teamwork activity. All Youth Crew have now reverted to anchor watches.

The intention is remain at anchor overnight prior to weighing the following morning and remaining within Moreton Bay for the adventure and challenge that is Young Endeavour.

Yours Aye
