Broken Bay Area

After a restful night at anchor Sail Master Kyle woke us at 0630 for our first morning swim and rope swing. We weighed anchor mid-morning and proceeded to sea to conduct my individual watch assessments of setting and furling the staysails. This completed successfully we conducted my Captain’s Challenge, to set all of the fore and aft sails, within 45 min. That was also successfully completed by the youth crew working together as one group for the first time.We anchored in Jerusalem Bay, had dinner, I gave the Command Day brief and then the Youth Crew held their command day elections. On completion Youth Crew Captain Kiah presented me with the results. We will remain at anchor overnight and hand control of the Ship to the Youthies at 1000 tomorrow.Until then.Yours Aye, Captain Mike
