We are now safely at anchor in Athol Bay and have just completed a facilitated debrief from the Command Day, which formally ends this activity. The YC are now down in the Cafe watching the classic tall ship movie “Around Cape Horn” complete with freshly cooked popcorn. We will remain at anchor overnight and then proceed alongside Fleet Base East tomorrow morning were we will embark our guests from the Australian Hearing Choir (Hearing Impaired) who will enjoy a 3 hour sail around Sydney Harbour onboard Young Endeavour with the Youth Crew hosting the day.Until tomorrow, take care.Yours AyeCaptain GavToday was another awesome day this afternoon we enjoyed a walk from Cremorne Point to Bradley Head, taking in Sydney Harbour and amazing views. It is definitely proving you wrong Mum!! ;-)Missing and loving everyone Carma xoxHey everyone keeping track of our voyage. We are now back safely in Sydney, anchored just off Bradley Head after the conclusion of a challenging Command Day. Today was fantastic, we managed to get 22 YC aloft, and safely made our way from Broken Bay back home. We are all excited for tomorrow’s half day sail!See you soon! HilaryHey there everybody!! We finished up our Command Day this afternoon, concluding our tasks with the simultaneous completion of the aloft tasks and the deck mural of our voyage. Reflecting on the last 24 hours, it was a long rigorous voyage from Patonga to Sydney with many tests and lessons learnt along the way. It was great to finish up and hand over the Young Endeavour to the staff crew and have some down time exploring the coast of Sydney harbour. Well I better go because Courtney is hassling me to finish up so she can write her own spiel. Take care. Gerard “eddy” Irvine.Heyy people=]Going to keep it short and sweet. The last couple of days have just got better and better=] sailing, swimming, eating accompanied with very little sleep=] its been great=]I’m disappointed to be leaving the young endeavour in a few days, but I also cant wait to get home and have a proper shower and a decent bed=]=]xx Courtney
