COMMAND DAY BEGINS

Today is Command Day, all the staff are on a summer holiday, and the Youth Crew have taken command of Young Endeavour for 24 hours. Commencing with a 0730 sleep in followed by a swim in the beautiful waters off Heron Island, the day got off to a wonderful start. Command was given to the Youth Crew at 1300 and after having squeezed in a quick swim and a few of our 22 tasks, anchor was weighed at 1730. We are all finding it a little challenging, but working together we are now sailing a course to Gladstone, where we expect to arrive about midday tomorrow.Until tomorrow night Aye,Youth Crew Captain Claudia
