At anchor off Noosa ,Wind: South West @ 5 kts
Situation at 20:00

The night watches last night were spent sailing under clear skies on our way to Noosa. We anchored at 08:30 and immediately had the morning brief. The unsolved mystery of the day is what has happened to Rags' blue scran bag? He was forced to use an even bigger yellow bag, which claimed many victims but led to some lively singing.

After happy hour, Captain John led a discussion on how to sail YOUNG ENDEAVOUR to and from an anchorage and the plan developed by the Youth Crew will be put to the test tomorrow.

Lunch today was an upper deck Barbeque of steak, snags and hamburgers. Watch Officer Nathan did the burger flipping while Chef Karen outdid herself with a terrific display of salads.

After lunch the Youth Crew were ferried ashore to Noosa where they were able to mail postcards, clean out the local stores and enjoy a swim at the beach. The mid-voyage talks were conducted ashore by each watch and resulted in some very candid and supportive discussions. By 17:00 all hands were back onboad and looking forward to Supper.

We have just completed the three-way conversations and it is amazing how many people have Star Wars as their favourite movie. The
Youth Crew are receiving their anchor watch briefing from Navigator Luke and will setting the watch shortly. We expect a quiet night at anchor and plan on getting underway tomorrow morning.
