YESTERDAY AFTERNOON WAS SPENT AT ANCHOR AND DUE TO THE
INCLEMENT WEATHER A WELL EARNED SIESTA WAS ENJOYED BY EVERYONE BEFORE THE INTER WATCH QUIZ. THE WEATHER EASED FOR YOUNG ENDEAVOURS' FAMOUS TEAK DECK BBQ AND DURING THE EVENING THREE WAY TALKS WERE CONDUCTED. THIS ACTIVITY PROVIDES A VERY UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO PRACTICE PUBLIC SPEAKING IN A FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT. OVERNIGHT ALL YOUTH CREW KEPT HOURLY ANCHOR WATCHES IN GROUPS OF THREE. THIS MORNING YOUNG ENDEAVOUR SAILED AWAY FROM THE ANCHORAGE IN TRUE TALL SHIP TRADITION AND CONDUCTED A SERIES OF DEMONSTRATIONAL TACKS. A NAVY SEAKING HELICOPTER FLEW OVER AND AS GROUND WAS MADE TO CLEAR JERVIS BAY A SCHOOL OF DOLPHINS PASSED UNDER THE BOW. ALL WELL.

YOUTH CREW IMPRESSIONS

WE HAVE NOW BEEN ON THE SHIP FOR 5 DAYS NOW AND HAVE EXPERIENCED BOTH GOOD AND BAD WEATHER. RIGHT NOW THE WEATHER IS FANTASTIC WHICH IS A CHANGE FROM THE SWELLS OF 2 NIGHTS AGO. OUR ARRIVAL AND DEPARTTURE FROM JERVIS BAY SAW GOOD WEATHER BUT OUR ANCHORAGE OVERNIGHT SAW RAIN AND WIND.

TAMSIN
SO FAR, SO BRILLIANT (BESIDES THE SEASICKNESS THAT IS). THERES BEEN
SO MUCH TO LEARN AND DO, SO MANY PEOPLE TO GET TO KNOW, AND GREAT FUN THATS BEEN HAD BY ALL(AND YET TO COME). WE'VE ALSO HAD A FEW GO OMENS- LOTS OF DOLPHINS COMMING ALONG TO SAY HELLO AND EVEN A SEAL OR TWO.

MADS
AWSOME TIME AND COOL FUN CLIMBING UP THE MAST. GREAT WEATHER, SUN SHINNING, BIT OF RAIN LAST NIGHT BUT ITS ALL GOOD NOW. FOOD IS
ALSO WICKEDT AS WELL. CYA X
