Voyage 16/01 is complete and we've had a blast. Thanks to all the Youth Crew and Staffies who made this trip from Melbourne such a success.

Last night we had great fun at he ship's concert. The staffies act was to farewell Woody in the traditional way with a 'This is Your Life'. The acts by each of the Watches were very funny and we laughed till our tummies hurt.

This morning we berthed at 1000 hours on Navy Day and we dressed the ship overall with flags on arrival. At the ceremony at midships I broke with tradition and the Watch Leaders presented their watches with the Voyage Certificates. Since it was also Sal's last Voyage I gave her the honour of presenting the Order of Australia Emblem to Lachlan (Cheese) who was in Sal's Red Watch. Well Done, Cheese - brilliant effort.

Our YC were then sadly farewelled and now we Staffies are on our own.

The ship, sadly, won't be departing on Monday for another Voyage - we spend the next seven weeks inport undergoing a much needed maintenance period. Our next Voyage starts in Newcastle on 26 November and we will do two Voyages before Christmas to end our Circumnavigation of Australia during the Centenary Year.

Till then, may you enjoy plain sailing.
