During the early hours of this morning Taff and the members of Blue Watch in only 3kts of wind managed to ‘wear ship’ and round our third waypoint then successfully shaped a new course to the north east and the fourth waypoint.
Following an eventful night of rain, wind shifts , sail setting/furling, tacks and wears we now all fully understand the excitement and sometimes the frustrations of Tall Ship racing.
Well we are back at sea again following our fantastic visit to Kristiansand, it really is great to be back with the Worlds Tall Ships and everyone is making Young Endeavour and her Crew feel really welcome.
We have continued to be blessed with good weather and favourable winds and during the past 24hrs we have continued to make good speed across the North Sea to Kristiansand.
