ENTERING SYDNEY HARBOUR

PAST 24 HOURSYOUTH CREW CAPTAIN ANTHONY AND HIS FEARLESS TEAM ACCEPTED THECHALLENGE TO SAIL YOUNG ENDEAVOUR FROM BROKEN BAY TO SYDNEY ANDCOMPLETE AS MANY TASKS AS POSSIBLE. ONCE CLEAR OF BARRENJOEY ALL FORE AND AFT SAILS WERE SET AND THE INTITIAL TASK OF 20 YOUTH CREW ALOFT WAS COMPLETED FOLLOWED BY THE DECK MURAL AND THE THEME DINNER.OVERNIGHT THE INFAMOUS WAYPOINTS WERE ESPECIALLY CHALLENGING TO MEET THOUGH A FEW INVOLUNTARY TACKS MADE EFFORTS SOMWEHAT MORE INTERESTING AS THE EVENING PROGRESSED. OVERNIGHT SAIL SUIT WAS CHANGED AND TRIMMED TO THE PREVAILING CONDITIONS AND BY SUNRISE THE END WAYPOINT WAS NEARLY INSIGHT. THE YOUTH CREW NAVIGATORS DISPLAYED REMARKABLE CHART WORK AND ACURACY WAS VERY IMPRESSIVE. THE COMMAND TEAM HAD YOUNG ENDEAVOUR ARRIVING ON TIME.
