Hi Everyone, Welcome to day four of our voyage. By sunrise this morning we were located 25nm to the WNW of Robe still motor sailing in strong south easterly conditions. At morning brief we announced to a very appreciative Youth Crew that we would be anchoring in Guichen Bay just prior to lunch and that we would be remaining at anchor overnight giving them all the opportunity to get ashore and enjoy a few hours on Terra Firma. At 1115 we entered Guichen Bay and proceeded directly to our planned anchorage coming safely to anchor just off the picturesque town of Robe at 1200. Once at anchor the Youth Crew were ferried ashore where they were given the opportunity to browse through the many craft shops, have a cup of coffee or enjoy a refreshing swim at the local beach. Early this evening with everyone back onboard we enjoyed a Teak Deck BBQ which was followed by an entertaining round of ‘Three Way Chats’ (communication and getting to know each other exercise). Once completed Kyle the Navigator gave everyone a brief on how we keep the ship safe whilst at anchor then to finish the day’s activities those who wished to were given the opportunity to go aloft (climb the foremast) for a sunset climb. Once these climbs are completed we will revert to anchor watches overnight ensuring that everyone is well rested for days ahead. Until tomorrow evening, take care. Yours Aye Captain Gav
