Hello Everyone,

Overnight the Youth Crew motor sailed most of the way to Gladstone with light and variable winds. A beautiful morning started at 0700 with a delicious French breakfast from our chefs, followed by an entertaining morning brief. During the day we continued with our required tasks and anchored at Gladstone before handing command back to the staff at 1300. The whole crew then assisted in harbour furling the square sails. After a pizza dinner on deck we wrote letters to ourselves and other crew members which the Young Endeavour Youth Scheme will post to us in six months time.

During command day the whole Youth Crew showed great perseverance and tolerance but most importantly had a great time. This voyage has been very enjoyable and the fond memories of which, I am sure, will linger long in all our memories.
