Latitude:
37°51's
Longitude:

Conditions:

At anchor Hobsons Bay, Port Melbourne. Wind south 12 knots, clear skies, temp 16C.

Current situation at 1800:

At 1600, with all Youth Crew onboard, Voyage 10/02 began and we departed Station Pier to anchor a short distance away in Hobsons Bay.
So far we have completed initial introductions, safety briefs and some ship familiarisation.

Tonight we will get into some serious climbing and tomorrow we sail. The weather patterns looks set to provide us with a range of conditions over the next nine days and I'm looking forward to an
interesting and challenging voyage as we head out into Bass Strait and then up the East Coast for the long haul to Sydney.

Once more its great to be back as part of the team on this magnificent little ship.

Until tommorrow,

Cap'n Bob.
