ALL YOUTH CREW JOINED IN DEVONPORT FOR THEIR ADVENTURE UNDER SAIL.

SAILING EARLY AHEAD OF THE MV SEAROAD MERSEY ALLOWED YOUNG ENDEAVOUR TO GAIN SOME TIME IN HAND FOR THE TRAINING PROGRAM. ONCE AT THE ANCHORAGE OFF MERSEY LIGHT ALL THE EVENING ACTIVITIES PROGRESSED EXTREMELY WELL WITH ALL YOUTH CREW CLIMBING ALOFT AND OVERNIGHT SOME VENTURED AS HIGH AS THE TOPGALLANT YARD, A SENSATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT.

BY MID MORNING YOUNG ENDEAVOUR WAS MOTOR SAILING TOWARDS THE NORTH EAST AND ON DECK THE TRAINING CONTINUED. THE SHIP'S MOTION HAS CAUSED A FEW YOUTH CREW TO EXPERIENCE SEA SICKNESS AND THOSE ARE BEING LOOKED AFTER BY THEIR FELLOW SHIPMATES.
