THE VISIT TO EDEN PROVIDED A WONDERFULL OPPORTUNITY FOR A WELL EARNED BREAK. EVERYONE ENJOYED THE TIME ASHORE AND ONCE ONBOARD THE FAMOUS TEAK DECK BBQ TOPPED THE DAYS ACTIVITIES. YOUNG ENDEAVOUR SAILED CLEAR OF EDEN AND PROGRESSIVELY SET ALL FORE AND AFT SAILS TO CLEAR GABO ISLAND.

ON DECK ALL YOUTH CREW CONTINUED TO REFINE THEIR SHIP BOARD SKILLS IN PARTICULAR SAIL HANDLING AND CLIMBING ALOFT.

RED WATCH WERE THE FIRST TO SET THE TOPSAIL. SETTING A SQUARE REQUIRES A NUMBER OF THE WATCH TO LAY ALOFT AND CAST LOOSE THE CASKETS. THIS THEN ALLOWS THE SAIL HANG IN ITS GEAR BEFORE SETTING.

EXCELLENT GROUND HAS BEEN MADE OVERNIGHT AND BY MORNING BRIEF YOUNG ENDEAVOUR WAS SOUTH EAST OF THE BASS STRAIT OIL PRODUCTION PLATFORMS. ALL WELL
