FABULOUS AFTERNOON ON THE BEACH AT COFFS HARBOUR, NSW. ALL YOUTH CREW THEN HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPLORE THE LOCAL AREA BEFORE RETURNING ONBOARD FOR A 'TEAK DECK BBQ'. THE EVENING ACTIVITIES INCLUDED THREE WAY TALKS TO DEVELOP PUBLIC SPEAKING IN A FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT FOLLOWED BY THE ANCHOR WATCH BRIEF BEFORE CLOSING UP OVERNIGHT ON HOURLY ANCHOR WATCH TRICKS. THE NATIONAL ANTHEM WAS ACCOMPAINED BY A SOLO GUITARIST WHICH CAPTURED EVERYONES SPIRITS AT 0800. YOUNG ENDEAVOUR SAILED FROM COFFS HARBOUR AND IS MAKING GROUND SOUTH. ALL WELL AND CERTAINLY REINVIGORATED AFTER THE OVERNIGHT BREAK.

YOUTH CREW IMPRESSIONS

JACK. MELBOURNE.
AFTER A WELL NEEDED ANCHOR AND RECOVERY AT COFFS HARBOUR MYSELF AND MOST OF THE CREW ARE OVER THE DREADED SEASICKNESS NOW WE ARE ALL IN PREPARATIONS TO TAKE OVER ON COMMAND DAY.

BRENDON. BUNDABERG.
IT ALL STARTED OF SO WELL, UNTIL I CLIMBED UP THE TOPSAIL TO HELP
UNDO THE SAIL AY NIGHT TIME ON THE SEA. I THEN REALISED I AM STILL
AFRAID OF HEIGHTS, BUT GOOD ON ME FOR HAVING A GO, I SAY.

DAVE. MELBOURNE
AT THE MOMENT IM TRYING TO THINK OF A WORD TO DESCRIBE THE VOYAGE BUT IT IS TO HARD TO EVEN PUT INTO WORDS THE THINGS WE HAVE ACCOMPLISHED IN SUCH A SMALL AMOUNT OF TIME. THE YOUTH GROUP ARE JUST FANTASTIC AND THE YOUNG ENDEAVOUR STAFF ARE EVEN BETTER. EVEN RAGS.
