TWENTY FOUR YOUNG AUSTRALIANS JOINED YOUNG ENDEAVOUR FOR THEIR ADVENTURE UNDER SAIL IN BRISBANE AT DOCKSIDE MARINA. THE PROGRAM STARTED WITH AN EMERGENCY DRILL BRIEF THEN SHIP TOURS AND 'GETTING TO KNOW YOU' ICE BREAKERS BEFORE EVERYONE ENJOYED A WONDERFUL DINNER. AFTER SUNSET ALL YOUTH CREW RETURNED ON DECK AND WERE GIVEN
THE CLIMBING HARNESS AND SAFETY BRIEF. ON COMPLETION ALL LAID ALOFT AND CLIMBED OVER THE LOWER TOP PLATFORM AND RETURNED ON DECK.
A GREAT EFFORT AND AS AN EXTRA SURPRISE THE CHEF HAD PREPARED HOT COCCO FOR SUPPER. OVERNIGHT ALL WATCHES CONTINUED PROGRESSING
CLIMBING ALOFT TO THE TOPGALLANT YARD AND STARTED ROPE WORK.

AT 0630 EVERYONE ONBOARD WENT JOGGING AROUND THE UPPER DECK BEFORE BREAKFAST. YOUNG ENDEAVOUR DEPARTED DOCKSIDE DURING THE MORNING AND PROCEEDED DOWNSTREAM TOWARDS MORETON BAY. ON DECK YOUTH CREW WERE INTRODUCED TO MORNING BRIEF AND HAPPY HOUR BEFORE COMMENCING DECK SAFTEY AND LINE HANDLING DRILLS. A FABULOUS DAY, ALL VERY WELL AND HAVE EXTREMELY HEALTHY APPETITES.
