Good weather for a great day of sailing.
THE LAST SIX DAYS HAVE LED UP TO THIS ONE DAY WHEN THE TWENTY FOUR YOUTH CREW TAKE OVER THE SHIP FOR 24 HOURS. TENSION BUILT THROUGHOUT THE ELECTIONS FOR LEADERSHIP POSITIONS. WHEN THE MORNING ARRIVED THE TENSION ESCALATED WITH IDEAS FLYING EVERYWHERE. THE SHIP WENT ROUND AND ROUND, BACKWARDS, FORWARDS AND UNTIL FINALLY WE WERE ON OUR WAY TOWARD BUNDABERG.
THE DAY WAS CHALLENGING WITH OUR
TEAMWORK SKILLS BEING TESTED TO THE MAX. THE CREW HAD SEVERAL TASKS TO COMPLETE INCLUDING HAMMOCK MAKING, MURAL DRAWING AND HAVING TWENTY CREW ALOFT.
THE DAY WAS A SUCCESS WITH YOUTH CREW GAINING KNOWLEDGE OF HOW TO COMPROMISE AND WORK TOGETHER AS A TEAM TO ACHIEVE A DESIRED OUTCOME.
RED WATCH ROCKS MORE THAN BLUE AND WHITE. HA, HA,HA. CONGRATULATIONS SALTY, SALTY SEA DOGS.
