Ahoy Shipmates,
This morning everyone woke to a fantastic Whitsunday sunrise. Prior to morning brief we had a pre-arranged vessel come alongside to restore YE ready for the next voyage. Following a short morning brief everyone was ferried ashore to Airlie Beach so that they could enjoy a leg stretch and a swim in the lagoon. Everyone was back onboard by 1200 and after another one of Jarrods great lunches we weighed anchor, departed Pioneer bay and made best peed for our final anchorage of the voyage at Catseye Bay (Hamilton Island).Once at anchor we conducted the last set of rope races followed by harbour furls. This evening we enjoyed our last teak deck BBQ for this voyage followed by an entertaining ship's concert. The rest of the evening will see the YC complete end of voyage questionnaires and letters to themselves, which are returned to each YC member six months after voyage completion. Overnight all watches will enjoy their last anchor watch together before completing their voyage in Hamilton Island at 1000 tomorrow.

This has been another memorable voyage for Young Endeavour and the Staff would like to wish all the Youth Crew of Voyage 11/08 all the very best for the future.

Until next voyage, take care

Yours Aye

Captain Gav
