Ahoy Me Hearties,

Welcome to the voyage log for 2007!

What a great start to the year we have had - the ship has just competed a major maintenance period which included installation of a new galley and repairs to the hull - she is now looking a glam!

Yesterday voyage 2 began with 27 eager young Australians joining us. During the afternoon we conducted safety inductions, ship's tours and first climb overnight. We were up early this morning for early morning activity, followed by a huge breakfast cooked by Simon in his flash new galley.

Today we will sail at 1100, and get into the business of sailing the ship - we have to get everyone up to spped on handiling sails and tacking the ship before nightfall.

At this stage the forecast north easterlies will allow us to sail south to Jervis Bay, where we will arrive AM Sunday.

At the moment I can hear the glorious sound of cleanng all around as the team enjoy that great Young Endeavour tradition of \happy hour\".

Until tomorrow, shipmates,

Chris
