My Young Endeavour voyage was from Sydney to Newcastle. I come from Perth, so it was exciting to see what the coastline in the eastern states is like.
I joined the Young Endeavour voyage 14/16 in August 2016 sailing from Gove to Darwin.
I sat at the table, mum by my side, for third time in three years anxiously awaiting the guest speaker to pull out the last female candidate that would be awarded a berth on the Young Endeavour.
